Then don't use your new washing machine - or electric fan without
When we bought a new Hotpoint washing
machine earlier this month I read the instructions (as you do) and
noticed a rather odd paragraph. To summarise it said "This
appliance may not be used by in the rain or by children (obvious)
or by persons with "reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities...if they are not supervised." That means that
the disabled are not allowed to wash their clothes without having
someone to first check their smalls!
Today I bought a new £10 desk fan from
Sainsbury's. Guess what? Yes, you guessed it the same sort of
paragraph on the instructions which this time said that people
over 8 years old and the disabled must first be given supervision
So I wonder, is it legal to impose terms that
deny lone washing and cooling facilities to the disabled in the

result of a disabled person putting in too much Daz?
